What began as a small trading company in Wädenswil on Lake Zurich has evolved into a leading niche player in Swiss retail. Today, Martec is based in Wollerau, operates multiple logistics sites, and generates double-digit millions in revenue.

With a deliberately focused brand portfolio and strong proprietary and distribution brands, we create sustainable value for each category. Continuous investments in IT and automation enable our employees to concentrate on innovation, product development, and customer consulting.
Sustainability is an integral part of our corporate responsibility – ecologically, socially, and economically. We invest 10% of our company profits in sustainable and social projects, thereby making a concrete contribution beyond our core business.
Through organizations like One Tree Planted, we engage in concrete environmental projects and long-term reforestation initiatives. Simultaneously, we collaborate with social institutions such as the Brühlgut Foundation and Altra, who package and assemble our products, thus creating valuable jobs.
Furthermore, we support insect research projects at ZHAW and invest in resource-saving solutions as well as in the continuous reduction of our CO₂ emissions.
Among other things, we support ZHAW in pioneering research projects that not only strengthen nature conservation but also create hope and new perspectives for biodiversity.
The Brühlgut Foundation supports and promotes people with disabilities, offering residential, work, activity, and training places. We are committed to Swiss craftsmanship and an inclusive Switzerland.
A central component of our sustainability efforts is the partnership with One Tree Planted. Together, we invest in reforestation projects worldwide to regenerate ecosystems, promote biodiversity, and counteract climate change.
